Best Nautical Themed Nursery
Nautical themed nursery allows you to experiment with materials and objects that are not traditionally used in a baby’s room. Nautical nursery schools can be adapted to suit either boys or girls, or they may be gender neutral. When planning your nursery decor, mean the elements that will be both functional and beautiful in the first year of your child’s life. One way to add a touch of the ocean to a nursery while creating extra space for display or storage is to use part of an old boat like shelving. For a rustic, weather-worn look, to look for antique stores or even classifieds section in your local newspaper find an old wooden rowboat or canoe. Based on the arc, measure the height that will fit into your nursery and use a hand saw to cut the boat in two at this point. Add cross supports to act as shelves and hang on the wall where it will be out of range when your child begins to climb. If you do not have the tools or abilities to build shelves, you can also buy shelves that resemble a boat.
For forward images of navigating the stars, use the star accents around the horticulture. You can stencil white stars on colored walls over your child’s crib, or paint the constellations in the attic. For a star based form that wakes images of navigating the ocean, use compasses as an ornament theme, either by painting it on a wall or ceiling, or by designing a paper reproduction.
Using blue and white in your nautical themed nursery kindergarten, you can create a sensation of ships at sea. For an elegant nursery, paint the walls a deep shade of blue and use white furniture, carpets, ceiling paint and accented accessories and keep it from getting too dark. For accent pieces, to look for blue and white striped baskets, curtains, or pillows add a more formal sense of seafarer’s clothes and patterned sails. If you want to add an extra color, look for a pair of shining red details to spread around the room, and even a single painting of a sailboat with red sail will add depth to your design.
